The Canada Goose Expedition Parka is an extremely well made Parka which can withstand Arctic conditions, however, the price may be a deal-breaker for some, with it being really expensive. It’s a very solid coat for sure, very well suited for really cold situations. However, you are also paying for the brand name.
All in all, a great coat, but it’s just too expensive for my liking. That being said Canada Goose is without a doubt one of the best parka brands out there!

4. Jack Wolfskin The Cook Parka
The next brand is a very different type of brand. Jack wolfskin is a great brand when it comes to parka’s. It’s a brand that really focuses on the outdoor world. This means that the Jack Wolfskin The Cook Parka is a great fit for hikers or other outdoor enthusiasts and less for people who are looking for a fashionable parka.
This parka is also a lot cheaper than the Canada Goose Parka. This is a great hiking parka, but I would recommend to keep reading because this isn’t the only suitable actin for hikers/outdoor enthusiasts.

If you’re going to be anywhere near rivers when you are out, then this coat is definitely for you. The Volcom Renton Winter also provides the usual wind-proof and cold-resistance that the other coats on this list do.
Compared to #3, #4 and number 5 the Volcom Renton Winter is definitely made for a mixture of people. It provides all the comfort and benefits of the other coats combined and gives them to you for a very reasonable price, especially when you consider the quality of this jacket. However, as good as this sounds, this still isn’t our number one pick.
